Should you go?
Lets get the basics out of the way. Its free. Its dad/male friendly. Its confidential and we do not judge.
Bottom line, we're dads who've done it tough, looking out for other dads doing it tough.
This is not a group of weak men crying about losing it all (although, if you cry, no one is going to judge you) but a bunch of blokes who are there for each other, helping others less fortunate to navigate the challenges. Think of it more as a strategy planning session for blokes going through the hardest time of their life without which, you're on your own dealing with stuff you've no idea about. This is about blokes helping out other blokes.
In terms of who goes, well, it's all ages and backgrounds but all of them have gone through a hard relationship breakdown and they pretty all have issues seeing their kids. That is what binds us. Nearly all of us were hesitant going but, all of us were happy we did. Each time a dad goes (across Australia) we ask him to privately give feedback and the stats speak for themselves. 98% say it helps them and 96% say it was the best help they found. You can't argue with that.
Come along and try us. We always give a warm welcome to new dads. You can just join us and listen without needing to say anything if that's what worries you.
